Language Manager

Language/vertical managing is crucial especially in projects that has several languages as it ensures a consistent of the service approach to various linguistic aspects in all of those languages.

Essential Functions

Management of Language/vertical Activities and Quality

Support everyday language/vertical quality activities in multi-language localization projects.


  • Coordinate and manages language/vertical delivery of multiple project initiatives to customers.

  • Ensure overall project quality and timelines.

  • Provide language coordination and deliver projects to schedule, meeting customer specifications and within cost targets.

  • Ensure ongoing process/system capability associated with projects and manage any changes required to meet or exceed the expectations established in project designs.

  • Occasionally directed in work, but most work accomplished without assistance.

  • Capable of managing larger and/or global projects.

  • Ensure that all the tasks assigned to suppliers in order to meet the customer requirements within the specified deadlines;

  • Act as a linguistic consultant for the team and customers, manage query databases and answer queries from suppliers;

  • Make sure that our suppliers can work efficiently by creating, editing and maintaining support materials such as translation memories, glossaries, style guides, instructions and reference materials;

  • Constantly improve the localization process, maintain the CAT/QA tools and resources.

  • analyze potential translation/work challenges before the translation/work stage in order to provide translators/suppliers with ready-make solutions and to prevent mistakes.

  • writing work instructions and assisting suppliers involved in the project process with providing answers to their queries.


  • Ability to communicate with, train and lead translators through procedures, client's requirements, and other production processing issues.

  • Ability to make decisions and lead translators through problems on job-related issues.

  • Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate competing work demands, and maintain composure under pressure.

  • Fluent communication skills of written and verbal English

  • Ability to report work orally and in writing as required.

  • Ability to understand, apply and use personal computers and software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, CAT Tools, Office 365/Skype, CRM/other production software).

  • A team player who can collaborate effectively with a diverse group of individuals.

  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in relation to performance of work responsibilities, working with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to resolve customer service and production issues in a professional and efficient manner.

  • Maintain, update, and oversee daily website operations

  • Plan and execute new website pages, banners, and infographic

  • Work with the graphic design team to implement imagery for all digital channels

  • Collaborate with our SEO expert to optimize organic traffic by making technical and content adjustments onsite and off

  • Handle incoming marketing department requests and ensure all organizational materials are in alignment with brand voice

  • Grow our social media presence across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter


  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or writing-focused roles

  • Proactive and capable of developing and promoting new initiatives

  • Tech-savvy multitasker

  • Strong attention to graphic detail

  • SEO experience

**English at mother-tongue level - a must
