What languages can be translated in this website?
At the moment we offer translation services from/to:
English, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin/ Cantonese), Dutch, French, Hebrew, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
We have recently added 10 more languages to our portfolio: Turkish, Ukraine, Bulgarian, Romanian, Indonesian, Bengali, Tamil, Malay, Greek, Indonesian.
How much money can I earn?
We pay a fixed price according to the number of words you translate, no matter which language is being translated and into which language. The customer declares the amount of words to be translated. You translate exactly this number of words.
You earn:
100 words - 3 US$
250 words - 7.5 US$
500 words - 15 US$
750 words - 22.5 US$
1,000 words - 30 US$
5,000 words - 150 US$
10,000 words - 300 US$
How do I get paid?
PayPal.
After the customer confirms that he/she is satisfied with the result, you will be credited with word credits for as much as you translated. When you have at least 250 word credits, you can claim and receive your payment (via PayPal only!) through the control panel. Please remember that PayPal deducts its transaction fees from what we pay you, according to your PayPal account type.
If you want to claim your payment before you reach the minimum credits (250 words), please e-mail us at info@OneHourTranslation.com with the reason for the request and we will review it.
Why do I have to pay 1$ registration fee is this some kind of fraud?
The 1$ verification fee is a symbolic fee to verify that you are a human being with a valid PayPal account. We will use your PayPal account to credit you for your translations. If you still don’t feel comfortable paying 1$ you are welcome to contact us at OneHourTranslation.com
How can I become a certified translator?
To become a certified translator please update your profile and provide as many details as possible including your CV, memberships in Language associations, website and skills. We will then review your profile and update it accordingly.
Please note that we will not be able to review your profile without CV and updated skills.
How do I claim my funds?
In order to claim your funds you need to:
- Collect at least 250 word credits
- Press the “convert credit to money” button in your control panel
- Fill in your PayPal account and the amount of word credits to convert
- Send an invoice to convert@onehourtranslation.com with the appropriate sum (see an example invoice here)
- Press the “submit” button.
The funds will be deposit in your PayPal account within 24 hours
How does it work?
You browse the “Open Projects” page for posted translation projects. You choose a project only if you can start working immediately on that project. Our customers use this website to get fast results, so you have a tight yet reasonable time limit during which to submit the result to the project page (1 hour per 250 words). If you don’t submit the result within this time limit, the project is reopened for other translators and you will not be able to choose the same project again. Upon submitting the translated result, the customer reserves the right to review and ask you for improvements. At this stage, the customer cannot copy/paste the result. We will credit you as soon as the customer signifies that he is satisfied with the result.
What if the customer is not satisfied with the result?
The project will be reopened for other translators, and you will not get paid. This is the only way we can protect our customers from frauds and low-quality translators. If you think an injustice has been made, please e-mail us at dispute@OneHourTranslation.com and we will thoroughly examine the case.
How about additional languages?
We’ll consider more languages according to customers’ demand and freelance translators’ availability.

We’re Three Innovators Ltd.
We created this service because we needed such a service ourselves. We have a successful financial website in Hebrew (ETF.co.il), and we wanted to make local versions of it in other languages. We found out that translating it using traditional translation services was too expensive, so we realized that affordable but high-quality translation services would definitely be needed by innovative webmasters all over the world.
